7. 3 Sisters Cattle Company
Raising USDA inspected grass-fed beef for local retail sales (to both stores and the public), they farm 600 acres. The 3 sisters are the 4th generation to farm on this land, and each of them own a percentage of the business. They also raise specialty crops and products such as cabbage, coriander, hay, pumpkins, gourds, squash, sweet corn, free range hens (eggs), and fresh cut flowers. Throughout the year, their products are available for sale via the internet, phone, or local grocery stores. Several pick-up locations are available, so be sure to ask about them!
Directions: From Hwy 20. Turn on to Monroe Landing Road. Go to the end of Monroe Landing Road. Turn left on to Scenic Heights Road. Go up the hill one mile and the farm will be on the left with parking in the pasture on the right.
