Whidbey Island Farm Tour

We are a retail nursery specializing in perennial plants. We propagate or grow many varieties of plants at HFNG and maintain display/demonstration gardens for the public to tour. We provide space/resources for the Plant a Row for the Hungry project, which we also use as a teaching/demonstration tool designed to introduce new or timid gardeners to the basic agricultural practices. HFNG sells perennial plants, garden art/furniture, and  many other garden inspired gifts and products. Products offered include dried flowers/herbs from our gardens and hand-made wreaths. We build custom potting benches and other garden furniture. During the weekend, we will offer self-guided or guided tours of the Farm and gardens and have a number of activities for the kids.

Directions:

Heading north, take Highway 20 and turn left on Zylstra Rd. (4 miles north of Coupeville). Go 4 miles and watch for the blue fence after Fort Nugent Rd.

Heading South, take Highway 20 and turn right on Swantown Rd., (at the last stoplight leaving Oak Harbor) turn left on Fort Nugent Rd. Go 1.75 miles and watch for the blue fence at the intersection of Zylstra Rd.
